TB Joshua has been “envied and unwarrantedly attacked by a few” – Sipah Yankey

Former Ghanaian Health Minister Dr George Adjah Sipa-Yankey praised the late Nigerian televangelist Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly known as TB Joshua.

Sipah-Yankey described the deceased as a very good human being and a true man of God who lived like Christ and touched the lives of everyone as best he could.

He was speaking in Lagos at a memorial held for the Prophet on Day 4 of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) week-long funeral and burial.

The former minister was quick to add that despite all his brilliant and exemplary values, TB Joshua was not immune to desires and unwarranted attacks.

According to him, because TB Joshua lives the life of Christ, “… it is no surprise that he is the most respected and impressive teacher, preacher, healer, donor and philanthropist of our time. . He is the embodiment of love, simplicity, honesty, respect and generosity.

“And so you can see that this is proof of his own teaching and of the life he led giving both financially and materially to the poor, the needy, orphans to the elderly, all over the world, not just in Nigeria and this is real Christian life.

He continued, “And you know, it’s for those good things, that’s why he’s loved by many but envied and unwarrantedly attacked by very few, because that’s what happens all the time.

“So he is a true man of God and a man who, he exudes confidence and simplicity, as a man he was loved. If you ask me the meaning of love…. To me, Dr Yankey, my definition of love is Prophet TB Joshua, ”he pointed out.

Sipah-Yankey was not the only Ghanaian figure to join the funeral, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemeng, opposition NDC vice presidential candidate was in Lagos to represent former President John Dramani Mahama.

GhanaWeb checks indicate that former Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie Ankrah was part of that delegation, as were Shirley Ayittey and Professor Joshua Alabi.

The current Minister of Railways, John-Peter Amewu, virtually joined the funeral by delivering a recorded message celebrating the late preacher.

Musically, musician Shasha Marley was one of the few performers to take the stage to join mourners in celebrating the life and legacy of the pastor who was buried on Friday July 9.

The final stop on his funeral will be a thanksgiving ceremony which is scheduled for July 11 at The SCOAN Headquarters, where his remains lie.
