Mr. Ashiboe-Mensah gave advice at a one-day workshop for some elementary school teachers in Ho on "Effective Teaching for Clbadroom Management".

Mr Ashiboe-Mensah said that teaching was not a "routine job" and that it was therefore inappropriate for teachers to engage in other jobs afterwards. school hours.

Mr. Ashiboe-Mensah said that while these other jobs could be economically profitable, they would be detrimental to the academic development of the school.
Similar professional development training workshops were held in nine districts of the Volta region and are expected to improve student achievement in the basic education certification exam.
