Tekno, the famous Nigerian hip-hop maestro, reportedly temporarily damaged his voice box and thus took time on music to overcome the setback.

The boss of the Triple MG, Ubi Franklin, revealed that Tekno was going to withdraw from the music industry.

Franklin unveiled the reason for Tekno's long absence in the industry in a statement posted on his Instagram account, confirming that the singer had damaged his mailbox temporarily.

He wrote: @ubifranklintriplemg "His voicemail box is temporarily damaged due to the pressure of overtime performance and can not sing or happen for a while.

Franklin explained that Tekno was going through a difficult time because of the disease.

"These last few months have been hard times for your favorite boy, Tekno Miles.

"He tried to minimize the severity of his illness, but after several diagnoses, the doctors advised him to take time to fully recover."

Franklin called on Tekno fans to pray him, to convey his love and positivity, knowing that the crooner Pana is going through a difficult time.

The management badured the fans that, despite the absence of Tekno, music would be available.

"He also wishes to rebadure his fans that they do not have to worry because he has put so much work into the work and that he will broadcast a large amount of quality music ".

In 2018, Tekno released three singles other than albums, including "Jogodo", "Your love" and "Choko".

Tekno won the Best New Act Award at the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2016 and was nominated for the "Best International Act in Africa" at the BET Award 2017. (NAN)
