Terrorist attack kills two Ghanaians near the border between Burkina Faso and Mali

Alhaji Shamsu Baba Yaro, two Ghanaian drivers, were killed in a terrorist attack on the border between Burkina Faso and Mali.

The acting president of the joint union of the port transport union, Alhaji Shamsu Baba Yaro, revealed this information to Citi News.

The names of the two Ghanaian truck drivers who have been killed have so far been given under the names of Mouhamed Moumen and Suleiman Gariba.

The two men had stopped at a security fence near the border between Burkina Faso and Mali, in the city of Koury, to settle their usual travel arrangements, namely 1,000 CFA francs.

The trucks reportedly transported floor tiles from Takoradi port in Ghana to deliver to an importer in the Malian capital, Bamako.
