The first unconfirmed Tesla videos, Navigate on Autopilot, begin to be shared online and provide an overview of the capabilities of the latest driver badistance feature of the electric car manufacturer. From the images of the Tesla owners who received the update, it seems that Navigate on Autopilot behaves almost like a standalone drive.
Tesla deploys without confirmation Navigate Autopilot with the release of version 2019.8.5 of its software. In its announcement, the company said that since the introduction of the new version of Navigate on Autopilot, Tesla owners have traveled more than 66 million kilometers with activated driver badistance. During this period, more than 9 million suggested lane modifications were successfully completed while Autopilot Navigator was active.
Elon Musk announced the initial implementation of the enhanced Autopilot and Summon Enhanced Summon version in mid-March, but until now, demonstrations of new features posted online have focused primarily on Summon Enhanced. With more vehicles getting 2019.8.5, more and more owners are discovering how revolutionary autopilot navigation really is.
Demonstrations of the updated driver badistance system in action were shared by Tesla's owners Earl Banning and @ M3Exp on Twitter, both of whom expressed their astonishment about Navigate on Autopilot's flexibility and capacity after 2019.8.5 update. Banning explained in his article on social networks that his vehicle required only one intervention (he accelerated more quickly) during his test, while @ M3Exp declared that Navigate on Autopilot (avoid confirmation) avoided an accident during the test of the new feature. Another owner of model 3, Dr. Camilo Ortiz, noted that his vehicle had almost driven him home in the rain and was dealing with traffic in New York.

Navigate on Autopilot is currently listed in the company's Full Auto-Driving suite, which costs $ 5,000 when purchased with a vehicle. If purchased after delivery, the Tesla FSD Suite can be ordered for an additional fee of $ 7,000. Vehicles equipped with the improved autopilot, now abandoned, are also compatible with this feature.
During an episode of ARK Invest For your innovation Podcast, Elon Musk said he was confident that Tesla could introduce full auto-driving features as of 2019. The company's vehicles are being prepared for deployment of these features, as indicated by the data indicating that Tesla custom hardware 3 was already installed on new vehicles. Some of these new features are expected to be presented on April 22 for Tesla's Self-Contained Investor Day, which will involve driving tests in vehicles equipped with autopilot and autonomous driving not yet deployed.
