Tesla Model 3 tops the list of vehicles that "bring the most joy"

Tesla Model 3 is leading many lists these days as the best-selling all-electric vehicles, the best-performing vehicles in the US, the best selling sellers, but now adds another vehicle to the list: the vehicle that provides the most joy.

Consumer Reports has released its latest survey of consumer satisfaction (Paywall), in which it is written: "Measure how satisfied car buyers are with the car they own."

It lists the ten best-performing vehicles, according to them, "providing the most joy to their owners", based on data collected from owners of "more than half a million vehicles".

Tesla Model 3 finished in first place, beating the Porsche 911, which has always been one of the cars most appreciated by its owners.

The publication adds weight to a statement made by Tesla CEO Elon Musk during the company's fourth quarter earnings conference call earlier this week:

"The level of happiness of customers with [Model 3] is incredible and I think probably the highest of any car in the world right now, I think. And so you can say that basically nobody wants to sell his car. "

He referred to Tesla's Model 3 at the top of the resale value ranking, with limited availability in the used market.

It is interesting to note that Tesla has twice made the list, the Model S also coming in 5th place.

On the top 10 vehicles, there are 3 different all-electric vehicles. With the Tesla 3 and S models, the Chevy Bolt EV took the 8th place.

Here is the complete list:

  1. Tesla Model 3
  2. Porsche 911
  3. Genesis G90
  4. Chevrolet Corvette
  5. Tesla Model S
  6. Toyota Avalon
  7. Kia Stinger
  8. Chevrolet Bolt
  9. Toyota Prius
  10. Dodge Challenger

Electrek's Take

I can not believe.

There are not many vehicles that are fun to drive, do not burn gas, come with software that is constantly improving, and which, in my opinion, are also breathtaking.

At this point I have referred to over 100 model 3 sales and I know even more people who own one, and I do not remember a person who does not like the car.

This seems almost impossible, but the model 3 did.

This does not mean that all these people have had a perfect experience with the vehicle so far, but they have been generally satisfied and in most cases it has convinced them never to go back to the gas.
