SpaceX chief Elon Musk answers questions after the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod 2019 competition at SpaceX headquarters.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, confirmed that people would soon be able to stream videos on digital platforms such as Netflix and YouTube in parked Tesla electric vehicles.

"It's possible to stream YouTube and Netflix when the car is stopped and to come soon to your Tesla! It's incredibly immersive and cinematic thanks to the comfortable seats and surround sound," Musk wrote on his Twitter account.

"Once the regulators have approved full auto-driving, we will activate the video during the move," he added.

The willingness to allow drivers and pbadengers to watch videos is not a total surprise – Musk noted at E3 that the opportunity to watch YouTube would soon arrive, said The Verge.

Tesla has already unveiled games that drivers can play on the screens of their cars. The games also work only when the car is stopped, so that the player can use the steering wheel as a controller.

On Friday, the company announced that the game of chess also stood at the Tesla Arcade.

But there are huge concerns badociated with such features.

The test vehicles must have a driver behind the wheel to take over in case of a problem, and even if the self-driving technology improves, it is hard to imagine that it disappears completely, indicates the report.

In March 2017, a self-driving Uber car crashed against a pedestrian in Arizona, while the driver watched The Voice on the streaming Hulu content platform and lost track of the road.
