However, Texas lawmakers will need to clarify certain points, such as labeling and product testing, or whether unmanageable CBD oil needs to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
"If someone thinks he has something, it's what he should have," Finkel said.
As for the cultivation of hemp, this remains to be determined.
"It can be confusing. Hemp has been declbadified, but it is still a bit restricted because the hemp bill of 2018 states that you must evolve as part of a state-approved program. We do not have that, "Finkel said.
Nevertheless, suppliers such as SunUp CBD have stated that the removal of hemp from the list of controlled substances is a step in the right direction. The Texas Compbadionate Use Act already allows people with persistent epilepsy to legally use cannabis oil for medical purposes if they meet certain conditions. The law only allows oils rich in CBD and low in THC, a psychoactive ingredient. There is currently a bill in the state legislature proposing the legalization of hemp and CBD.
