Thandie Newton proudly supports her daughter Nico at the premiere of Dumbo

Thandie Newton was the image of a proud mom on Thursday, as she joined her daughter Nico on the starry red carpet for the premiere of Disney's live action, Dumbo.

The famous actress, 46, made a beautiful figure when she joined her 14-year-old daughter – who starred in the movie – for the London launch in the Curzon Mayfair neighborhood.

Directed by Tim Burton, Dumbo is a real re-imagery of the animated clbadic of 1941, which tells the story of a circus elephant who discovers that he can use his big ears to fly.

Thandie staged a daring presentation for the film's launch by donning a gray sequined dress with eclectic fake fur details, finishing off the dress with matching silver strappy heels.

The star of Line Of Duty, whose hairstyle is cut to form dramatic waves, could not be more proud, as she supported her daughter in her first actress role.

Meanwhile, Nico was perfectly dressed for the occasion while she donned a beautiful pale pink dress with an orange overlay, pulling her own curly braids into a low ponytail.

And despite decades of experience at the movies in her family – with an actress for a mom and a director / writer for a dad – Nico recently confessed that she had not taken any advice from her parents .

She told the Hollywood Reporter that Thandie's giving me acting advice, it's a little stressful. Because I do not know if you know but she's better than me.

"It was really my own experience," she said of her work on Dumbo, which Disney reorganized from her own 1941 iconic animated feature film of the same name.

Eva Green – who plays the Trapezian Colette Marchant – took her name by putting on a sunshade dress covered in astonishing sequins.

The 38-year-old French actress looked gorgeous on arrival at the launch, matching the evening gown and her spiked black heels.

Featuring her clbadic hair, Eva added another splash of color with a bold red lip, which caused a storm as she headed for the event.

At the premiere, Eva explained to MailOnline how honored she was to work with Tim again. She said: "It was a real honor to work with such a genius that you know that we have to celebrate the differences.

"Well, I want to say first of all, I think the first time I had a wonderful time working with him, he's an absolute genius, and then a wonderful man. He is very humble and hopeful, so it was a real pleasure to work with him again. & # 39;

Tim also told MailOnline that he hoped the film would represent a sense of otherness and be an underdog, adding, "This only represents that, I have a very simple image . A flying elephant represents this in its simplest, purest form.

In praise of the film's cast, he said, "Well, all you have to do is look at the list and you can see that they are forming a strange, beautiful family."

And at the prospect of bringing together many cast members he had worked with before, Tim added, "Yes, it was very special in a movie like this, with Eva and Danny DeVito with whom I I've already worked three times, and Michael Keaton. So you know it's a movie about strange families and that's a strange family. & # 39;

Dumbo is the third time that Eva collaborated with director Tim Burton and she revealed that she had overcome her fear of heights after he had asked her to perform some of the stunts of her air character.

The actress admitted that her "fear of heights and swaying is really serious" and that she "panicked" when hearing about the role.

However, after a few months training with circus performers, Eva revealed that she had regained self-confidence to go "higher and higher".

She told The Hollywood Reporter, "We went step by step and I can not believe I managed to do that. I have always thought that I was afraid of heights for life, and it is really to face my fear that I am able to overcome it. I'm very proud of myself on that one.

Colin also spoke to MailOnline about his role in the film, noting that it might not be the last time he was working with director Tim, famous for his new collaboration with some actors.

He said, "I do not know, it's very optimistic of me to think that yes, I could be one and it's done, who knows.

"I loved working with him. I would do anything with him, I should pay attention to what I say here. I would love to work with him again, he was a joy. He is so, his body vibrates with creative energy, he is so much a player and he just has a lot of heart.

"Not only is he a visual genius and a master of the imagination, he has tons of heart, so it was a joy."

Squeezing the film's message, the star added: "Right in the center, respected ideas that sometimes lack sensations with respect to inclusion and celebration of the difference – not just the # 39, accept, but really celebrate and that sort of thing makes sense.Unfortunately, we humans forget that these things are important.

Dumbo follows the story of a circus elephant ridiculed for his big ears, who discovers that he can use his ears as wings and that he can fly.

After the remixes of Cinderella, Maleficent, Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast, Disney's latest live movie will be released on March 29th.

Burton is the director for the film, while his frequent collaborator, Danny Elfman, participates in the soundtrack.

It is based on a screenplay written by Helen Aberson and is an integral adaptation of the animated film of the same name written by Walt Disney in 1941 and written by Otto Englander, Joe Grant and Dick Huemer.

Amongst the stars present was also the former Scarlett Moffatt, winner of the I A Celebrity, who was unchallenged in a clbadic black jumpsuit for the occasion.

The Gogglebox star has added matching heels and a bold red lip, with her dark braids pulled back into an elegant and braided ponytail.

And Lilah Parsons, DJ of Capital Radio, was hard to miss with a light blue polka dot dress adorned with a detailed halter, adding silver heels and her brown braids in a coiled up-do.
