The idea of a gay or bad Marvel superhero continues to be debated and creatively launched by Marvel's leaders. Whether it happens at one time or another in reality is another thing, despite all the talk and positive encouragement from the stars involved. The more people who promote the idea, perhaps the faster it will happen.
Again, perhaps you are worried about an excessive division of the issue, which could lead to constant delay while continuing to promote the idea.
We have already seen Marvel star Brie Larson promote the idea of Captain Marvel a bad. Tom Holland is now commenting on the idea of a future gay Spider-Man.
Could such a thing happen with Spidey or will the MCU decide to choose a different character from Marvel?
The MCU will soon have more diversity, but no one knows when.
Tom Holland recently said that he would gladly support a gay Spider-Man in the future if Marvel went there. This will probably not happen as long as Holland plays the character, as it has already been clearly established that Peter Parker is straight in recent movies.
Again, there is always a chance that he is bibadual, which could be considered a left-wing choice and would provoke criticism for forcing the idea. What makes this task difficult is to bring a Marvel gay character organically into the franchise. So it does not seem to be done just to stay politically correct.
After Avengers: End of the game placed a minor gay character in the cast (played by Joe Russo in a cameo), many thought it did not represent well enough. Anyway, the Russo continue to say that this is just the beginning of the diversity they promise in the coming years.
That ultimately means that a gay Spider-Man is always debatable.

Even at the time, Jackson fans were so numerous that the transition would have been perfect. Everyone has found the natural and long-awaited process Spiderverseas well as the possibility of opening alternative scenarios
Since Marvel has already opened its doors to the parallel editions of the films, we must ask ourselves if they will find a way to get a gay Spider-Man through this mechanism. It would also be the ultimate way to resolve any controversy. You can not discuss a multiverse without giving the excuse that it's not necessarily canon.
As Holland has said himself, we can not make a straight and white person the only demographic group represented in a Marvel universe already diversified in another way.

The most likely scenario is that a different character from Marvel will be designated as gay at some point in the future. It may be one of the youngest characters to make it more relevant to the Millennial crowd.
Characters like Spider-Man have a long tradition: to make him gay could upset fans who are used to seeing him be the same for decades. Although this may make some people want to make such a decision, there is no doubt that Marvel takes all of his fans seriously, including the older ones.
A better scenario is to present a superhero who was not yet represented on the big screen and make it a new emblem of LGBTQ pride. If some complain of such a clear turn, it gives them the opportunity to make natural entry without decades of putting in the background.
Again, the multiverse can eventually open the doors of this world in Spider-Man. Decades may go by before this happens, but you can always count on the MCU to organize major film events for an immemorial period.
