Former President John Dramani Mahama described the 2020 elections as the most crucial for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He thinks the 2020 polls will determine the future of CND and Ghana.
Mahama was addressing some NDC Electoral Officers in Tamale on Saturday, July 27 to open a three-day retreat.

The theme of the retreat was: "Strategically repositioning the election leadership for the 2020 elections".
The NAG reports that the purpose of the retreat is to familiarize participants with scientific knowledge and an approach to election management to prepare for the 2020 elections.
Mahama urged NDC election managers to focus on effective compilation of results, as well as compilation and counting centers.
He called for the selection of party voting agents based on their skills, knowledge and skills.
Mahama said such people can effectively oversee the 2020 polls to ensure victory at the NDC.
He added that the party should not repeat the same mistakes as in the 2016 elections.

"Elections are not a lottery where you can win or not win, you must cover all the fields to make sure that the victory belongs to you,Said Mahama.
The NDC flag bearer also appealed to the Electoral Commission to improve its information and technology system in order to avoid compromising the system of transmission of election results.
