The Central December 31 Anniversary Planning Committee and the office of former President Jerry John Rawlings will commemorate the 39th anniversary of the December 31 Revolution on Thursday.
This anniversary is in partnership with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and will be organized in honor of the late founder of the NDC and former President of the Republic of Ghana, who is also the leader of the Revolution.
The event is scheduled to start at 8:30 am at Osekan Park on Atta Mills High Street.
Among other things, there will be a wreath laying and a parade in honor of former President Rawlings.
“The special guest of honor is former president and NDC flag bearer HE John Dramani Mahama,” said a statement issued by the Central Planning Committee for the anniversary of the Dec. 31 revolution.
“The dress code is black or red,” he added.
“All revolutionary organs, the general public and members of the media are cordially invited.”
