Accra, July 26, GNA – The College of Accra
Medicine offered a full scholarship valued at $ 75,000 to one of the
finalists of the recently completed National Science and Math quiz held in Accra
Conference Center.
The College of Medicine of Accra has two
finalists from the last two years are offered a fully funded scholarship to
study medicine.
This year's NMSQ saw three schools go
in the final with St Augustine's College in the Central Region emerged as
the winner.
Of the three schools qualified for
the finals, namely St. Peters High School, St. Augustine's College and the
Presbyterian Boys Senior High School, three students expressed interest in
study medicine and are ready for the opportunity offered by Accra College
of medicine.
The president of the college, Professor Mrs.
Afua Hesse, was enthusiastic about the interest expressed by the students and said
they would be taken by the selection process to choose a student to be
given the stock market.
She said, "We are looking for someone who
truly encompbades our mission, our vision and above all our core values ".
According to her, the two students currently
under the scholarship at school lived up to expectations
their clbad.
"It's something that gives me hope and
I would expect the next student to come in the same way
to study in college. I believe that the training of these students goes through
while preparing for the National Quiz on Science and Mathematics,

She applauded the NMSQ organizers
program and pledged continued support from the college and an annual scholarship for

Master Bright Asiedu, the first finalist in
the 2017 edition of the NSMQ and now a second-year medical student, said the
the scholarship had given him the opportunity to pursue his dream of becoming a
doctor.

Also, Master Benjamin Fenny, who was part of
the winning team at St. Peter's High School over the last year
edition, said that the offer came at the right time.

tertiary public institution but coming to Accra College of Medicine I have
everything I need to become who I want to be. "
For him, the interaction between the speakers
and students as well as open access to the facilities did the study of

Accra College of Medicine is a doctor
