The African Union has suspended Sudan as more than 100 people were reportedly killed during the attack of security forces in pro-democracy camps. The sound of the gunshots can be heard in footage filmed during a raid by Sudanese security forces during a peaceful protest in Khartoum. More than 40 bodies have been removed from the Nile, according to medical groups badociated with protesters. Internet access was cut off, preventing protesters from communicating and sharing video evidence of the incident. There is growing fear that divisions between the ruling military regime will lead to a civil war.
