The agent of the Lille star Nicolas Pepe has described the speculation as a link between his client and his move to Manchester United as "false news".
The 24-year-old striker has been badociated throughout the summer with a host of top European teams including United, Man City Liverpool and more recently Serie A aside Napoli.
The Ivorian scored 23 goals in 41 caps last season and confessed earlier this year whether he was ready to leave the Ligue 1 club.
A report of Yahoo Sport France Earlier in the week, the Red Devils made a firm offer of £ 71 million (EUR 80 million) to Pepe, but this bid was rejected.
However, speculation continued to grow while Football Insider report that they agreed on personal conditions with the player, but one of Pepe's representatives – Samir Khiat – strongly denied this.
Instead, they landed in Naples to discuss personal terms with Napoli, the club that seemed to be favored to sign it until recently.
