Do you see.
The new horror of Get Out director Jordan Peele, entitled Us, has arrived in cinemas.
The film follows the traumatized mother, Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong & # 39; o) and reliable father, Gabe Wilson (Winston Duke), taking their children on vacation to their vacation home.
Once installed, the family finds a group of disturbing people in their driveway: another family, who looks like them.
Calling themselves Tethered, the doubles invade the home of the family and threaten the life of the terrified Wilson's clan.
Can attacked Wilsons repel the Tethered?
And who exactly are these scary intruders?
Here is everything you need to know about Tethered from Us.
* Warning: Spoilers for us *
Movie Us: Who are the attachés?
The Tethered are the evil doubles of the Wilson family, and later proved to be the evil doubles of all American citizens.
They all show violent tendencies and seem intent on killing their look-alikes and all the unattached ones they come in contact with.
All wear red suits.
No member of the group speaks in full sentences, apart from Red, the double of Adelaide.
But more about her later.
Us movie: Where do the attachés come from?
At the apogee of the film, we learn that the Tethered were clones created by a mysterious organization (perhaps the US government) in tunnels located beneath the surface of the United States of America.
The film began with a text telling us that there are miles and miles of tunnels abandoned under the United States. Some come from old subways, others for sewage, but others, we do not know why.
The government's involvement comes when Red claims to be "American."
Anyway, the Tethered did not manage to develop physically and mentally, as their masters and projects wanted, and they were abandoned to live in the tunnels.
You can copy bodies but you can not copy souls.
Movie Us: Why does Red control the Tethered and what is its purpose?
We find that as Red is the only one to speak, she has control over the Tethered.
The problem at the end of the movie is that Red is not really a Tethered, but a real Adelaide. He was kidnapped and replaced by the real Red as a child while visiting a fair.
While Adelaide was raised among the undeveloped Tethered, she became obsessed with her own t-shirt announcing the Hands Across America charity program that she had seen the day she had been taken as a child.
She imitated Red Red's decisions and had children with her own captive version of Gabe, Abraham.
Adelaide's goal was that the Tethered kill all the originals, replace them and complete the physical chain of Tethered holding hands across America.
While the real Red grew up silently and not socialized, she had difficulties at first, but finally found happiness despite the trauma of her origins.
For what happens at the end of us – see our end explained here.
It is released from the United Kingdom on March 22, 2019.
