PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – Saturday morning, people put on their running shoes for a good cause, Heart-disease, the American Heart Association.
Participants gathered along Portland Waterfront Park.
On Wednesday, FOX 12 was entertained with a father who was planning to attend the event after a heart attack.
Heart education was also at the center of the march to inspire people to move and live healthier lives.
The fundraising has reached its goal with more than $ 800,000.
