He was also part of Jurgen Klopp's team on the club's training ground, Melwood.
And some Liverpool fans on Twitter now think that means Alberto Moreno's time is up.
One of them wrote on the news of the extension of Adam: "The replacement of Moreno in the next season".
Another is looking forward to Moreno's departure by writing: "Excellent news. Yet another proof that the academy is really doing a great job.
"Congratulations to everyone involved. Now we can let Bertie go in summer when he wants to go … "
It was also a point of view shared by other fans.
"A decent cover for Robertson … now, please, let Moreno go …", tweeted.
"Announce Moreno when you leave," said another.
Moreno has only made five appearances in all competitions this season for Liverpool.
Andy Robertson is the first-choice left-back at Anfield since the start of last season and Moreno's future at the club is bleak.
His last appearance in a Reds jersey took place in the defeat in the third round of the FA Cup at the Wolves in January.
The Spanish is out of contract at the end of the campaign and should leave in free transfer.
Moreno joined Liverpool from Sevilla in 2014 and scored three goals in 137 appearances.
