Oguaa Fight Despite the presence of the police, things got out of control

Timothy Gobah, graphic correspondent for Cape Coast, was "arrested" and detained on Friday for about an hour by the Emintsimadze Palace chiefs in Cape Coast.

This follows a report by Gobah on the confusion that erupted at the launch of Fetu Afahye 2019 in Cape Coast on Friday morning.

Some members of the community stormed the festival's launching ceremony, which included Omanhen, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II and Central Region Minister Kwamena Duncan.

After the report on Graphic Online, the leaders summoned Gobah to the palace after expressing their dissatisfaction.

Some of the leaders then went to the Graphic Cape Coast Regional Office and dragged Gobah from the office to the palace, located a few feet away.

Once there, the traditional authorities arrested him and confiscated his phone.

After about an hour, he was released as a result of an intervention of the Central Regional Police Command.

According to Timothy Gobah, armed police have been called to restore order at the Fetu Afahye launch ceremony in 2019.

Despite the presence of the police, things got out of control.
