The Best American University to Teach Students 'Ganja' Studies for the Master's Program

As more and more people begin to accept the legalization of marijuana, a university has taken a step forward by creating programs for field study.

Now they can get a master's degree in marijuana.

As more and more US states legalize marijuana, both medically and for recreational purposes, a number of schools are creating undergraduate and undergraduate programs to study the field and to to provide a more trained workforce in the United States.

The School of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland announced in a press release a new Master of Science in Cannabis Medical and Therapeutics this fall.

The purpose of the degree is to teach students how to "Support patients, the cannabis industry for medical purposes and existing research in this area, and develop a knowledgeable medical cannabis policy."

More specifically, the two-year program will examine "basic science, clinical use, adverse effects and public health, and federal and state laws and policies relating to medical cannabis."

"Medical cannabis has been legalized in 33 states, including Maryland, as well as in Washington, California, Guam and Puerto Rico." Natalie Eddington, Dean of the Pharmacy School of the University of Maryland, said in a statement.

"This number is only expected to increase in the future, fueling the demand for a well educated educated workforce both on the scientific and therapeutic effects badociated with this medicinal plant" , she added.

Natalie Eddington revealed that the University's Masters in Science and Therapeutics of Medical Cannabis had been critically designed to prepare students to meet this demand.

"Educational design innovations throughout the curriculum will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a positive impact on communities in the United States." she says.

Other American universities also offer undergraduate courses, such as the University of Connecticut and the State University of New York at Morrisville.

Meanwhile, world champion boxer Manny Pacquiao is seeking funds to build homes for the poor.
