The best new movies to stream on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO, and Disney + this weekend

On March 1, a slew of new movie options flooded our favorite streaming platforms. And throughout the month, those outlets, which include places like Netflix

NFLX
, Amazon Prime

AMZN
and Hulu – will continue to offer more and more options.

And that includes this weekend, when 21 new movies hit five of the top streamers: Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Max, and Disney +. Which means if you’re like me and subscribe to multiple streaming services, you have decisions to make.

Here I am going to list the biggest movies on these platforms this weekend. Then, at the end of the article, you’ll find a full list of this weekend’s movie lineup.

Coming 2 America (Amazon Prime)

In 1988 Eddie Murphy starred in the box office hit Coming to America. And now, 33 years later, we finally have a sequel. Coming 2 America finds Murphy back as Prince Akeem, who travels to New York with his trusted confidante Semmi (played by Arsenio Hall).

Raya and the Last Dragon (Disney +)

Walt Disney Pictures’ latest computer animated film

is Raya and the last dragon. With characters voiced by Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Alan Tudyk, Ross Butler, Daniel Dae Kim and Sandra Oh, this animated juggernaut tells the story of a warrior named Raya who must defend her kingdom from monsters.

Boss Level (Hulu)

Hulu’s latest movie would love to enter the pantheon of great time travel movies. Boss level focuses on a retired military agent named Roy who finds himself in an endless time loop where he is stuck in a day where he dies over and over again.

Sentinel (Netflix)

Netflix isn’t offering much this weekend. But there is one movie that doesn’t get a lot of hype but seems to pack a punch: Sentinel. This action film follows a French soldier (played by Olga Kurylenko) who, after returning home from a traumatic combat mission, tracks down the man who injured his sister.
