The mortal remains of high-level Ghanaian musician Anokye Supremo, better known as Daddy Lumba Jr, has finally arrived in Accra.

In a video from YEN.com.gh that circulates quickly in social media, Lumba Jr's body was seen locked in a sealed coffin.

His manager, Isaac Kobina Zakk, had already informed his fans that his body would be on Monday afternoon.

Anokye Supremo died in an Indian hospital following complications related to brain tumor surgery.

The artist has been in a coma for a few days since the operation and surgeons hoped that he would come back as soon as possible.

But according to Zak, who was taking care of him in India, the Highlife musician was recovering well, but had a relapse.

Speaking in a Facebook Live interview on KOFI TV, the friend could be heard shedding tears as he recounted what had happened.

Anokye had trouble seeing especially with his left eye and, according to him, it started after he had a severe migraine.

In a later interview with KOFI TV, Supremo reported that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and had lost his sight afterwards.

According to him, his doctors had told him that he would need about 10,000 GHC to get surgery. He therefore asked Ghanaians to help him raise funds for surgery.
