A new family could move to No. 3 of Coronation Street, but that does not mean that viewers have seen Norris Cole's latest film.
Norris was missing the pavement because of the poor health of actor Malcolm Hebden, but he's recently felt pretty good enough to start filming Corrie again in a guest appearance ability.
Soap's bosses have already revealed that Norris would come back on the pavement to announce that he was engaged to Emily Bishop's niece, Freda Burgess, and that he would be selling soon after the third issue to the new Baileys family.

Digital Spy and other media spoke about producer Iain MacLeod on Friday, April 5, about newcomers to the streets, but he was quick to point out that this would not mean saying goodbye to Norris.
"Norris one hundred percent does not leave the series," he said. "We only thought that given the circumstances in which we find ourselves, it made sense to put a family in third place, but it's certainly not the end of Norris."
MacLeod also reviewed the status of Eileen Derbyshire, a member of the long-standing team, who has been on Stree Coronationt for the last three years.

"As for Emily, we talk quite regularly with Eileen, but for the moment, she does not expect her return, but the door is certainly not closed there," said the producer.
"But definitely in the case of Norris, the hope on my part and, I think, his, is that we can bring him back for good."
Coronation Street is broadcast on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm and at 8:30 pm on ITV.
