Luck smiled on an underprivileged schoolboy who went viral on social media with his ‘Our Day’ photo.
The boy, identified as Daniel, was seen in the viral photo eating fufu during his school’s “Our Day” celebrations.
Being an unusual food choice for such occasions, Daniel’s photo gained attention and started to become an online trend.
In the midst of the trend, a man on social media decided to offer Daniel some help and thus asked social media users to help locate him.

A Good Samaritan woman, Wendy Boatemaa Ofori, helped locate the little boy. According to Ofori, Daniel is a student at Nkwantapong D / A Primary School, located in Bosome Freho district, Ashanti region.
After finding him, Wedny Ofori revealed that the boy’s mother is mentally unstable as his father has passed away.
Wendy Ofori traveled to Daniel’s village to meet the boy’s family and shared a photo.
After the boy was discovered, Owusu Afriyie, the man who promised to sponsor Daniel’s education up to college level, revealed that another man was ready to adopt Daniel.

According to him, the man offered to replace Daniel and relocate him to Canada.

Following the impressive number of gifts he received, Oswald presented some of the items to the Royal Seed Orphanage in Accra.
The nine-year-old boy donated the items on Sunday, August 1, 2021, along with his parents and other family members.
