The brilliant appearance of Will Smith teased by the producer

Disney's live action Aladdin will be released in theaters in May and one of the most anticipated elements of the film is Will Smith, the iconic Genie. However, every Smith's look in the role has been more human, leaving many fans wondering what it will look like in blue. Now, Aladdin producer Dan Lin is just teasing that.

Talk with VarietyLin teased the "great blue genius" with some "hip hop flavor".

"He's great blue genius," Lin says. "He has a good tail, he's really big but he's really funny, he brings his own style and hip hop flavor."

Premiered for the first time in Robin Williams' animated film, Smith's cast as Genie is one of the most polarizing in the film. Many fans do not know exactly what Smith will look like once blue. In addition to his appearance, Smith has big shoes to fill in terms of manners and way of speaking, because the Williams Genius was a larger-than-life character. Lin's comments seem to indicate that instead of just trying to recreate Williams' Genius, Smith is giving his own image. This is something that is understandable, as Smith has already told Entertainment Weekly that it was "terrifying" to take the beloved character.

"Every time you do iconic things, it's always terrifying," Smith said. "The question is always: where was there meat on the bone? Robin did not leave much meat on the bone with the character.

"[Williams] infused the character with a timeless version of himself, "Smith continued." I began to be confident that I could deliver something that would be a tribute to Robin Williams, but was musically different. Only the flavor of the character would suffice and make it unique enough to be in a different way, as opposed to competition. "

Guy Ritchie runs the new Aladdin film, from a screenplay that he co-wrote with Vanessa Taylor and John August. The film stars Mena Mbadoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Jasmine), Will Smith (Genius), Billy Magnussen (Prince Anders), Nasim Pedrad (Dalia), Marwan Kenzari (Jafar), Numan Acar (Hakim) and Navid Negahban.
