The cause of Sophie Gradon's death has been confirmed as a result of an investigation.

An investigation revealed that Sophie had taken cocaine and alcohol and died by hanging. Her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong found her at her parents' home.

A few days after Sophie's death, Aaron committed suicide, an investigation said.
The North Shields Coroner's Court heard that Sophie had expressed suicidal thoughts to a friend before she was found dead.
His parents decided not to attend the survey today. At the time of his death, they issued a statement demanding confidentiality.

"It has been a week since we lost our precious daughter, and we, as a family, are still facing our sudden loss," the statement said.
"Our heart is broken, we wish to say goodbye to Sophie in private, so we ask you to respect the privacy of our family during this difficult time."
Sophie became famous after participating in the second series of Island of love in 2016.
