Bolgatanga Central MP Isaac Adongo said the celebration of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia at Wednesday's public sitting was an embarrbaded hat-trick.
According to Adongo, the Ghanaian economy was ranked 4th world economy and therefore had nothing to celebrate, as did the vice president and "his people" on Wednesday.
Mr. Adongo was speaking at a minority conference to expose Ghanaians to the true state of Ghana's economy after the NPP's open discussion session.
Adongo explained that while nuclear power plants celebrated the stability of the cedi, which he believed was stable for a very short time, the cedi also depreciated at the same time.
"We are the second in the whole of Africa in debt and why are we celebrating these goals? The UN has ranked Ghana's economy fourth in the world. We celebrate this embarrbadment with kenkey and fish, "he said.
