The Greater Accra Chamber of Chiefs (GARHC) has confirmed the appointment of Johnathan Adjetey Adjei, known as the Nii Okang Duamro Stool Nmashie III, as Mankralo of Teshie.

The position of the Mankralo in Teshie has been met with serious resistance whenever one tries to install someone after the disappearance of Nii Adjei Otchwenmah Nmashie III (late Mankralo).
Johnathan Adjetey Adjei's statement was included in the report of the House committee presented to the factions by GARHC on Tuesday at Guggisberg Memorial Hall in Dodowa.

Ada Mantse, a three-member committee chaired by Nene Kabu Abram Akuaku, said that "the Committee recommended that Nii Okang Duamro Nmashie III, known in private life as Johnathan Adjetey Adjei, be named and installed as Teshie Mankralo. .

This decision was confirmed at a meeting of the General House ".

The other members of the Committee were the late Nene Atsure Benta III (Prampram Mankralo) and Nene Kanor Atiapah III (Ningo Mankralo), while the former Secretary of the House, Samuel Yeboah Menkah, was its secretary. The committee was inaugurated in 2013.

The report, as stated in its conclusions, states that:
1. The mankralo stool is patrilineal.
2. The Mankralo sits among three (3) main houses: Nii Tetteh Otwe – Us, Nii Klu Tsuru – Us and Nii Klu Din – Us.

After the conclusions, the committee recommended that out of the three (3) chambers in power: Nii Tetteh Otwe We, Nii Klu Tsuru We, Nii Klu Din We, it was Nii Klu Din We's turn to nominate a candidate for the installation as Teshie Mankralo.

The committee asked the door whose name had been chosen to nominate a candidate (Nii Klu Din We) led by ex WO 1 Henry Sowah Otinkorang, head of a family of Nii Klu Din We, for propose a candidate for installation as Teshie Mankralo and -niché Johnathan Adjetey Adjei known as stool Nii Okang Duamro Nmashie III under the name Mankralo de Teshie and the committee confirmed.

When presenting the report to various factions on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Guggisberg Memorial Hall, Dodowa Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI, President of the GARHC, advised the factions of the conflict between leaders to hold a procedure if they wished challenge the decision reminding them that the Chieftaincy Act 759 of 2008 provided that these matters should be dealt with by the regional chamber of chiefs.

Nii Dowuona added that they could go to the House of National Chiefs and then to the Supreme Court if they disagreed with the Committee's recommendations.

However, he urged them to unite and promote peace among themselves in order to allow the inauguration of the traditional Teshie Council, only of the 13 traditional Ga-Dangme regions remaining to be properly constituted and inaugurated.
