The 21-minute game was surprisingly good, since Warrior was not a technician in the ring in any way. But that's not what made this match so special. What made her special was Savage's meeting with her former director (at the time, her current wife), Miss Elizabeth. There was not a dry eye in the house with the exception of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan:

I talked a bit about Becky Lynch's rise and her iconic "Irish War Paint" moment that propelled her into the fast lane of Sunday's main event. When that happened, everyone compared it to this 1997 match. It was a fantastic match that saw one of the rarest moments of the fight: a successful double trick. Hart was in the match in babyface while Austin was the heel who refused to believe that he could be hired.

Both lasted 22 minutes and is one of the best matches of the 90s era of the event. The video below represents the complete match, but if you want to know more about the moment I'm talking about, move on around 25:45 to watch the start of the long season that saw Austin win the WWE Championship.

In an interview on WWE Network, Austin described the moment as almost badic and said, "If I had a cigarette there, I would have smoked it."

The bad

Wrestlemania 28: Sheamus crushes Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is currently on one of the best heels in the history of WWE. He plays essentially a nasty Captain Planet dressed in The Big Lebowski. He is so committed to his craft that he convinced Vince to turn the title of the WWE into a belt made of hemp and wood because it is 100% durable. It's amazing! Seriously, look at this:

No wonder, that's what happened between him and Sheamus at Wrestlemania 28. Bryan was world heavyweight champion at the time. His opponent, Sheamus, won the Royal Rumble to win the title of his choice, which means that CM Punk defended the WWE title against Chris Jericho in the same show. While Punk and Jericho had a thriller of more than 20 minutes, Sheamus and Bryan came out with the sound of a wet pet:

Officially, the match was 18 seconds. Even worse, it's the match that opened the series. Excellent choice, Vince!

Wrestlemania IX: All but Bobby Heenan

The "rbadlin" room of our Slack is a place where a few of us meet to watch the shows and talk about what's going on. There are almost always discussions and disagreements about what is good, what is bad, etc. There is one universal thing that we all agree on, however:

Wrestlemania IX was a garbage can. From beginning to end.

The mid-map was bad.

Giant Gonzalez was particularly bad.

Nothing really made sense.

The whole show was bad … except Heenan, because he was always the best.

It was a very strange show, made for the first time outdoors at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Of course, it was in ancient Rome. Everyone wore togas and the quality of the match was nil, but the way the show ended was worse. At the time, McMahon was participating in a youth movement, but Hogan wanted a last push and felt that he should have a fifth reign at the top. This is how it happened and why it was so bad:

Hart had lost to Yokozuna after being hit with salt by Fuji. Hogan, for the reasons, came to Hart's rescue and this led Hogan to beat Yokozuna for the title. Officially, Yokozuna's reign is 191 seconds. Hogan had his fifth title reign, but Hart knew it would not go away before that happened.

Do not let this reaction of the crowd deceive you, however: Hart was right. Fans rejected it and Hogan handed the belt to King of the Ring 70 days later, in Yokozuna, while he was hardly participating in the shows or television taps. It was the last appearance of Hogan struggling before returning to the case with the competing company WCW, to finally launch the Monday Night Wars.

The worst

This song was part of a real music album. All this is awful, but in one way or another, it's still the worst of the worst. If you managed to pbad the whole 3:31 without digging the eardrums, you have all my respect.
