The conduct of members of the League of Economic Fighters in Parliament is unacceptable – Baako

The editor of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Kweku Kweku Bawo Baako Jrr, criticized the behavior of members of the League of Economic Fighters when they went to Parliament on Friday to attend debates.

The three protesters were arrested by the police after shouting from the public gallery "Let go of this room".

Ernesto Kofi Yeboah, Abeiku Adams and a third who remains to be identified have protested against a proposal to build a parliamentary complex at an estimated cost of $ 200 million.

Hammond justified the controversial plan by insisting that "the deputies can not sit under the trees".

His comment moved the protesters sitting in the public gallery, who then began to sing "Let this room go."

Security guards came to pick them up and detained them at the police station of the ministries. They were later released.

But veteran journalist Kweku Baako described the behavior as "a flagrant violation of Law No. 1086 on the Parliament, the Standing Orders of Parliament and the Constitution of Ghana".
