Development Dzapatra Congregation of the family of Christ

The Christ Family congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Asylum Down, Accra, will soon build a school in Dzapatra, a village located in the Adeiso district, in the eastern region.

The village, which has about 500 inhabitants, does not have basic facilities such as a school, drinking water, a clinic or a place of convenience (toilets).

Reverend Ofosu Gyeabour Adarkwa, pastor in charge of the congregation of the family of Christ, who announced this project on the anniversary of the salvation preaching point, the only church in the community, called on the government and other charity to come to the aid of the community.

Last year, the congregation of the family of Christ undertook an evangelistic mission in the village of Dzapatra and created the salvation preaching point, which is the only church in the community.

The village of Dzapatra, which has existed for more than 100 years, is dominated by idol worship.

Reverend Gyeabour Adarkwa said, "No church has been able to penetrate or send the gospel there.

"As Presbyterians, we believe in the formation of the heart, the head and the hands, we train the mind to acquire knowledge, the heart to love God and the hands with which to work. So we decided to create a clinic and a place of convenience. for the inhabitants of Dzapatra in the near future ".

Reverend Gyeabuor Adarkwa called on the government and the "good people of Ghana" to join the Christ Family Congregation in launching these development programs in the village.

The Dzapatra salvation preaching point currently has 150 members, including 60 adults and 90 children.
