Bill Cosby's spokesman said an insurance company had settled another defamation suit brought by an accuser, the latter by model Janice Dickinson.
Dickinson and his lawyer Lisa Bloom have scheduled a press conference Thursday near Los Angeles.
Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt said that American International Group Inc. had settled the case without Cosby's approval, as they did with at least eight other women who claim that the comedian and his agent denigrated them by denying their allegations.
Bloom promises a "major, final and legal victory" in the Dickinson case.
Dickinson stated that Cosby had drugged and raped her in 1982. She is one of six accusers who testified in the 2018 criminal trial that resulted in Cosby's conviction and a three-year sentence. ten years in prison for badual badault in 2004.
