Sadio Mane will be back early in Liverpool next month – and may be available for the start of the Premier League season.
Mane began his summer vacation after helping Senegal reach the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations last Friday, where he lost 1-0 to Algeria. .
Liverpool was expected to grant the striker three weeks of holidays similar to those of Alison Becker, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, also behind the international tournaments this summer.
Mane, however, will be back inside this period. And if he misses the Community Shield against Manchester City on August 4, he could be vying for the opening match of the Premier League at home against Norwich City five days later.
"We now know that Sadio will be back on August 5th and we can also prepare for the Norwich match," Klopp said.
"Boys are getting more and more fit. And the boys who come back should be in shape, it's a very short break. Then we have to work together.
"It's rare that you play your best football on the first day, but you want to have results.
"We're missing six to eight players in Boston. I am not worried but I know the situation.
Sunday's 2-1 loss to Sevilla in Boston followed a 3-2 defeat of Borussia Dortmund at Notre Dame two days earlier.
Liverpool will finish its US tour in New York Wednesday against Sporting Lisbon and will face Napoli at Murrayfield on Sunday before leaving for a week – long training camp in Evian.

And Klopp admitted, "The training camp is incredibly important. Three returning players, Mo, Bobby and Ali, and that should be fine, we'll see how they go, and Naby (Keita) and Shaq (Xherdan Shaqiri) too, hopefully.
"Then we have a few days to work, then a game, then a little more work and another game.
"Would I like a different situation? Would I want to have my whole team together for the first day? Yes, but the last time it was 12 years ago.
