In the United States, only ten female chefs received a Michelin star. And Melissa Perello is one of them. She got her first job as a cook in high school, then at the Culinary Institute of the United States, then in San Francisco, where she opened "Frances" and later "Octavia". Both have received a prestigious Michelin star, an honor that Octavia still holds. Now she heads south to Los Angeles: "Mr. Georgina" will open this summer at "Row DTLA", the new and successful restaurant and restaurant project in the downtown core.
