Mr. Divine Addo-Dankwa Kwapong, former Director of Communications of the Judicial Service, is not dead.

The Ghana News Agency has inadvertently used his photo in the Sakumono Estate report on the death of a former High Court judge, Judge Ringo Cbad Akurugu Azumah, found dead in his home in Sakumono Estates, Tema, Friday.

The Ghana News Agency apologizes to Mr. Kwapong, his family and the public for misusing his photo, that of the deceased.

Afia Tenge, public relations officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, said that her holding on April 19, 2019 had been informed of the death of Judge Ringo Cbad Akurugu Azumah in his apartment in Sakumono by a plaintiff.

She immediately reported that a team of crime scene experts from the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Accra had been rushed to the scene where "an adult man aged about 60 lay dead.

ASP Afia Tenge further stated that after a thorough inspection of the body, without any mark of violence detected, the body had been deposited at the police hospital morgue in Accra to be kept pending the arrival of 39 autopsy to determine the cause of death.
