In its commitment to improve the UK visa and immigration service (UKVI), the UK Home Office has changed its service to allow customers to benefit from a smooth application process.
The changes to the Access UK service include improvements to the online customer journey, the introduction of new technologies and the digitization of services.
Thanks to Access UK, customers can now make an appointment for their visa processing center, scan and upload their supporting documents in the comfort of their own home.
With the help of the eDossier Solo document download application offered by their TLS business partner on IOS and Android devices, and purchase any additional service to enhance their experience, in a continuous journey.
Customers can continue to download documents to support their application until the day of their appointment.
This exciting development means that the majority of customers no longer have to submit their original documents, but that they will still need to provide their pbadport to be able to place a sticker if they get a visa.
This service is being rolled out worldwide and is available in Ghana now.
The service is available on mobile devices, which allows to complete the application forms on a smartphone or tablet, which makes it more convenient for the customer.
The application is often more concise and quicker to complete because the questions are asked only to the extent that they correspond to the client's previous answers.
Customers can view, edit, and download their partially completed application at any time prior to submission, which simplifies the verification, modification, and update of responses, as appropriate.
The application fee is displayed in the appropriate local currency, making it easier to understand the overall cost.
Customers will now seamlessly move through the application process to make an appointment with the chosen CCA to submit their biometric data, without having to visit multiple online sites.
The vast majority of customers will be able to upload their own vouchers and easily select and pay for additional services to meet their needs.
Access UK means that customers with visas can:
• make visa applications faster by using an intuitive online form;
• Use checklists and easy-to-follow steps that list the evidence needed to apply;
• download all the required documentation themselves until the day of their appointment;
• make changes to their application at any time;
• Easily choose a standard, priority or super-priority service (if any);
• And apply flexibly using any mobile device.
