If you told me a week ago that David Wright and Rick Devens would be arguing over "Survivor: Edge of Extinction", I would have accused you of lying. So far this season, David and Rick have been the best friends of the world. They voted together 100% of the time at the Tribal Council and encouraged themselves to take on challenges. Heck, Rick even gave David half of his heart idol of immunity after returning from the island of extinction. So, what has happened?
In the eighth episode of Wednesday, David and Rick were approached by former members of the Lesu tribe. Kelley Wentworth and Dan "Wardog" DaSilva, respectively, on the burial of the hatchet and the union of forces to try to compete with the dominant Kama alliance. David's past experience of "Survivor" taught him to always look for ways to progress in the game. So he accepted Kelley's plan, but Rick's inability to overcome the fact that these people had voted it before had spit on it. Wardog's face
"I do not want to come back with you at all. You tried to vote for me twice. Why should I work with you guys? "Rick asked a stunned Wardog, and that's when Wardog rolled his eyes and accused Rick of playing with his emotions, which was true.
When David and Rick then compared their notes, David tried to put his friend on their side. "I am a puppet and you are a puppet," he told Rick. They would say that they would be at the bottom of the totem when they joined the Kama alliance of seven people. "We [would not be] drive this game Eric Hafemann"To drive it and Ron Clark"Drive it."
Rick responded that his way seemed better "for me" because it was out of the question for David to get enough numbers to change the vote. "I think you dream," said Rick stubbornly. That's when Rick asked the other half of the immunity idol he'd given David the week before. But David was not interested and replied, "If you do not mind, I'd like to hang on to it." Ouch!
