The latest film from Marvel Studios, Ant-Man and the wasp, created at the beginning of last July. It's been six months since fans have a new movie in the Marvel film universe and it goes without saying that fans have plenty of time to start telling their theories about the Avengers: End of the game will reshape the MCU for years to come.

A recent theory of fans that has sparked an online controversy claims that Thanos (Josh Brolin) will eventually be redeemed and will become an anti-hero in the MCU.

First posted on / r / MarvelStudios by / u / RealBugginsYT, the theory states that Thanos could follow a path similar to that of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and be redeemed before the character's time is completed in the MCU . While Loki was the villain during his first two appearances, the character slowly turned into an anti-hero into an absolute superhero by the time he was killed at the hands of Mad Titan.

Of course, for a bow of redemption for Thanos to be valid, the character should appear in several other past movies. War of Infinity and End of Game. Loki ended up appearing in all three Thor movies, The Avengers, and War of Infinity and if the crazy Titan, who just killed half of all life in the universe, was redeemed at the end of End of Game, you can bet that it would provoke a tumult both with fans and critics.

The theorist ensures that the story of Thanos has been reconstructed to make it an eternal, claiming that the Titan might appear in The eternals, a franchise that would be developing at Marvel Studios. In a previous interview, Brolin had stated that he would not want to play Thanos after the last two Avengers movies if the studio would have it.

"Ayou know what, I do not know what the future holds and who knows, but [I] I like the idea of something infinite like this, "Brolin told ScreenRant. I have never been involved in suites. The fact that we did a game of Avengers 2, Oh sorry, Avengers 4 but Infinity War 2, I'm going back there I'm going to do more, and we'll do a couple of times and all that. So, I'm excited about it all. I like the Russos. I love working on the Avengers. I did not think I was going there and I really liked it. I did not even like that. I liked it. I like to play this character. It's a BrandoesqeApocalyptic Now, it's character and it's fun, but you know, I do not know. I do not know what the future holds. I've been surprised at all my career so we'll see. "
