An Ethiopian living in New Zealand who survived the mosque attack in Christchurch last week told the BBC how he managed to stay alive by hiding.
Last Friday, 50 people were killed when two mosques were attacked by one armed man.
"I hid under a shelf that serves to put the Koran. I went to bed and claimed to be dead, "Abdulkadir Abba Bora said.
He told the BBC Afaan Oromoo service that he thought his life was about to end.
"I was thinking about my wife, my children and I cried. I was praying. I feel now that I have a second chance in life. ''
The father of three is still traumatized by the attack.
We know that two other Ethiopians were wounded.
