The ex-girlfriend of Emiliano Sala wants "justice" for the attacker from the city of Cardiff after the disappearance of his plane.

Sala was traveling from Nantes to Cardiff last month when the private jet disappeared. The Argentinian and the driver Dave Ibbotson were the only two people on board.

A body was discovered in the wreckage of the plane disappeared during a private underwater search Sunday.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch confirmed on Thursday that the body was found and was taken to Portland Island for transmission to the Dorset coroner.

No details have been communicated on whether the body found is that of Sala or the Ibbotson pilot.

Schkair also published a poignant image of a yellow rose in tribute to the former Nantes striker.

Previously, she had posted an encrypted tweet that she had subsequently deleted, claiming that she did not believe in the disappearance.

She first said, "Investigate the football mafia because I do not believe in this accident."

Later, she wrote: "I want to wake up and it's a lie. Please investigate because I do not believe it's an accident or suspend a search for bad weather when they find barely floating objects in [the sea].

"I need to read that you have arrived, I can not believe that they stop the search until tomorrow, that they waste time and do not investigate, I feel helpless, it's a nightmare. "

The body had been removed from the wreckage "in the most dignified manner possible," said the Air Accident Investigation Division (AAIB).

A spokesman for the AAIB said: "Unfortunately, attempts to recover the wreckage of the aircraft have failed before bad weather conditions require us to return the ROV to the ship.

"As weather forecasts are poor in the near future, the difficult decision to end all operations has been taken.

"Under difficult conditions, the AAIB and its specialized subcontractors managed to recover the body previously seen in the middle of the wreckage.

"The operation was conducted in the most dignified manner possible and the families were kept informed of progress."
