As we know, Amazon saved 'The Expanse' from the cancellation at Syfy and produced a fourth season. Last week, we announced that the fourth season will be aired for the first time on the service from December.
Today, the news has improved further, with Amazon having announced to the Television Critics Association that the series was renewed for a fifth season. The first order would have been inspired by the high quality of the series and the enthusiasm of its audience.
The upcoming fourth season will send heroes beyond the Ring of Rings, exploring the riches of thousands of Earth-like worlds that will create a series of growing colonial conflicts between the Earther, Martian and Belter nations.
There is also a cherry on the cake: a new reel for the fourth season that you can see below. "The Expanse" returns on December 13th.
