The mega-mansions continue to accumulate in Los Angeles.
It all began in 2014 and 2015, when two high-profile sales to very expensive buyers spurred a series of huge-build homes costing $ 20 million or more, Katherine Clarke reported in the Wall Street Journal.
Today, about 50 ultra-high-end homes are being built in upscale neighborhoods such as Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, and Brentwood, and there are not enough high-end buyers to buy them.
To remove them from the market, real estate brokers are resorting to increasingly inventive tactics to drive them off the market, as recently announced Hillary Hoffower of Business Insider.
Here are some of the ways in which they are trying to sell these huge homes, offering $ 100 million in price cuts at lavish meetings.
