All eyes were on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they arrived at the Royal Albert Hall for the BAFTAs.

The couple were dressed in their finery while walking on the red carpet, smiling and greeting the cameras and the crowd of enthusiastic fans.

Oh dear!

Obviously, being a member of the royal family meant that they had some of the best seats in the house at the forefront – but that meant that the uncomfortable walk was very, very long.

When they arrived in their place, Kate could be upset saying, "It's so quiet."

William answered, "Let's sit down quickly."

Fortunately, the discomfort did not last long, but the host Joanna Lumley took the stage and kicked off.
