Maclean remained discreet about other aspects of the deal when Citi News contacted him.
But he also revealed that some GRIDCO senior executives are helping to solve the problem with the police department.
Meanwhile, his mother, Dora Asonkwa, and his brother, Yaw Debrah, insist that the suspect is not a thief.
They also ask for justice.
"I asked GRIDCO to help my son and keep him in custody," Dora Asonkwa told Citi News.
"I know my son is not a thief. GRIDCo is also worried. We ask for help from the GRIDCo authorities. If it were not the GRIDCo leaders, I would have asked Nana Akufo-Addo for help. I am a supporter of NPP. How can I vote for them and my son will be killed and removed from the earth? "
The shooting occurred on Thursday, March 21, 2019 around 22 hours.
Maclean was driving alone in his hair salon with his registration number while he reportedly ignored the checkpoint causing a lawsuit by the police.
