The first images of James Bond describe a destroyed explosive building

The first dramatic images of the filming of the new James Bond movie show the aftermath of an explosion.

The panels are ripped from the walls of the world-famous 007 scene at the Pinewood Studios in London.

The debris lies on the ground next to the gaping holes on the side of the building.

Ambulance vehicles are seen parked in chaos.

The signs next to the huge 007 sign affixed to the side of the studio are missing.

The images appeared after a member of the team was injured on the set.

However, the bosses insisted that the explosion was under control and that only one crew member off the scene suffered a minor injury.

An ambulance was parked outside

It was reported that the staff needed medical attention after "three huge explosions" on the set of the 25th film of the Spy franchise.

The explosion would have been triggered by a rehearsal of fireballs arranged in advance and which apparently would have raised some of the roof on the board.

The fire appliances remained on the scene

The bosses quickly turned to social media to set the record straight on what happened.

A tweet from the official James Bond Twitter site said: "During the shooting of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25's film shoot at Pinewood Studios, damage was done outside of scene 007.

"There was no injury on the board, but a team member off the stage was slightly injured."

Bosses say it was a controlled explosion

The Sun reported that the staff had been "seriously injured" and that the blast had hit part of the roof and at least five wall panels of the famous 007 scene at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.

It was also reported that the staff member was crushed by part of the game that had fallen on him.

One source said, "It was total chaos.

Daniel Craig as Bond

"There were three huge explosions and part of the roof of the Bond scene was blown out, along with wall panels of the scene, which were supposed to be filming.

"A fireball was supposed to cross the plateau, it was the waterfall but something went terribly wrong."

They added that the place had been put under "lock" after "three strong explosions," but Bond officials said that was not the case.

It's the last drama to shoot in the movie.

Last month, star Daniel Craig needed an operation after an accident.

The actor was to undergo a small operation at the ankle after an accident on the film set in Jamaica.

This is a famous filming location

Daniel will have to take two weeks of filming to recover from the operation.

Despite its unplanned pause, the film remains on track for the same release date, bosses said.
