The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, has sought support for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the upcoming elections.
Ms. Buhari made the call Thursday by leading members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) women's and youth presidential campaign team to the palace of some traditional leaders in Abuja.
She was represented by Dr. Hajo Sani, Senior Special Assistant to the President in charge of Administration.

The first lady said the campaign was aimed at mobilizing support for Buhari's re-election in the 16 February presidential election.
The team visited the palaces of Esu de Bwari, Ibrahim Yaro as well as Sarkin Bwari, Alhaji Awwal Ijakoro.
She badured them of the Buhari Administration's determination to consolidate successes in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture, and so on.
In their separate responses, Sarkin Bwari, Jakoro, thanked the campaign team for being identified at the palace.
The esu of Bwari, Yaro also congratulated the team for being identified at the palace and badured that the population would be mobilized to participate in the electoral process.
APC supporters, mostly women and youth, besieged the venue to welcome the delegation.
Supporters sang solidarity songs using various inscriptions to express their support for Buhari's re-election.
The team consisted of the wife of Mairo Al-Makura, governor of Nasarawa State, and the wife of Ms. Munira Buba Marwa, former military administrator of Nasarawa. Lagos State, and the wife of the Chief of Staff of the President, Hajiya Hauwa-Kulu Abba Kyari. , among others (NAN).
