Former Arsenal winger Perry Groves thinks we are about to witness a significant change at the top of the Premier League, claiming that Chelsea is about to undergo a major decline.
The Blues were shaken Friday by the news that FIFA had banned two players to transfer to Chelsea, leaving Maurizio Sarri, or any other responsible in the future, a very difficult job to do.
Chelsea intends to appeal the decision, which could delay the ban and allow them to sign new faces this summer, but Groves believes it's only a matter of the tip of an iceberg very worrying for West London.
"Chelsea has completely changed its culture, they have no culture of promoting young players in their team," he told TalkSport.
"Will they have a complete turnaround? Will Chelsea fans be patient for two or three seasons? They will not be because they are used to winning cups and champions trophies and leagues.
"For the moment, I think they are ranked in the top four. This season they are, but I think that in the future, they will be ranked in the top four. "
Chelsea are currently sixth in the Premier League and could slip four points behind the top four if Manchester United wins this weekend, while the Blues are in action in the final of the Carabao Cup.
