The Let's Talk Ability program is a talk show that provides a platform for people with disabilities to express themselves.
It aims to educate the public, putting public issues at the forefront of the burning issues of disability in Ghana.
Produced by Ms. Otiko Djaba who has experience in similar projects with Plan Ghana in the Upper West West region, the talk show aims to give Ghanaian society a better understanding of what people are going through. disabilities. They must also appreciate how difficult their lives are and how they are affected by disability, their caregivers, community, government, civil society organizations, NGOs, disability organizations, philanthropists, employers, educators, health service providers, justice providers and institutions can contribute to the development and well-being of people with disabilities.
The program brings together a wide range of members, professionals and guests, including people with disabilities, government officials, disability organizations, parents, teachers, health practitioners, religious leaders and other stakeholders working closely with people with disabilities.
People with disabilities have always had their rights denied and violated. To this day, beliefs and practices that discriminate against people with disabilities persist and result in unacceptable human rights violations.
As a result, Otiko Afisah Djaba is launching the TV show "Let's Talk Ability", which will serve as a media tool to educate the public, thus putting the public debate on the burning issues of disability in Ghana at the forefront.
