Former Arsenal star Nigel Winterburn badessed the Gunners' chances of placing in the top four this season.
Northern Londoners are currently ranked fifth, tied with Manchester United and only three behind Chelsea.
Unai Emery's men started the season in strength and seemed to earn a place in the Champions League, but Arsenal suffered a series of poor results.
Winterburn thinks the Spurs should have enough in their locker to rank in the top four, meaning that Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea will remain in contention for fourth place.
"It's almost like watching a fight between Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea," Winterburn told Love Sport Radio. "United with Solskjaer in charge came back with a dazzling run, so it was very important for Arsenal to beat Chelsea, as it gives them the confidence that they can actually take the challenge to be in the top four.
"It will always be very difficult, but everything is a matter of conviction and momentum … Arsenal have to put together a series of games to put themselves in a good position, just like Manchester United in recent weeks."
When asked if Arsenal could do it, Winterburn replied, "I would like to see this, and I hope it will happen, but I do not know at all. of the last five games we are able to enter this first four.
"I think it's the fourth position, I think it's as realistic as possible, I do not think we can be higher than that with the teams around us."
"So if we were to win this fourth place, it would be a progression, but we would need to see that progression the next season.
"From Arsenal's point of view, from the point of view of the fans, we only want to see a progression and eventually come back to the challenge for the title but how long will it be a question to which I'm going to go?" would like to answer for you! "
