The Deputy Minister of Commerce led a 21-member delegation to participate in the 2019 "Investment Promotion Mission" organized by the Ghana Free Trade Zone Authority (GFZA).

The delegation of Carlos Ahenkorah included Deputy Minister of Information, Pius Hadzide Enam; Kate Abbeo Djankwei, Deputy General Manager of GFZA (General Affairs) and other companies operating in Ghana.

The investment mission is in collaboration with the Ghanaian Embbady in China and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) on "Developing Industrial Parks between Ghana and China: Opportunities for Win-Win Cooperation" ".

The four-day event included a business forum, a meeting with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and a visit to China. 39; factory in Markor Furnishings (Tianjin).

The mission aimed to expose existing companies in the free zones and other government institutions to emerging trends throughout the sector and to seek investment in China.

The companies that participated in this investment mission were the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), Oro Oil Ghana Limited, RAMEC Limited, Unijay Limited, Fruit and Export Terminal Ghana Limited, Pinora, the Ghana export promotion and Image addition.
